You can only have either a text color or a background color, not both. Although Notion allows both, if you select both, neither will render, and the last selection will be applied. This is because the Notion API only supports either a text color or a background color, not both simultaneously.
When a text annotation is a link, the text and emoji opacity will be reduced.

In inline code, the text color annotation applied to the text will also color the underline, similar to normal text annotations.

You can assign a color or background to any block, which is separate from the text annotations inside it. This allows you to have a different background or text color for the block and a separate background or text color for the text within the block.

Empty Blocks
Only empty paragraph blocks will render, allowing you to add spacing and differentiate content. Other types of empty blocks will not render.
